Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence? If so, buckle up! Sailpeak, a fast-growing consulting firm based in Brussels, is on the lookout for a Data Analyst Intern to help us drive data-driven decision-making in the Banking & Insurance sector. You will be building Sailpeak studies and reports, contributing to our research center!

What You’ll Be Doing 📊

▻ Data Collection & Analysis:
Gather, clean, and analyze data from various sources to extract meaningful insights. You’ll work with structured and unstructured data to support business decisions.

▻ Data Visualization & Reporting:
Transform raw data into compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau. Your work will help key stakeholders understand trends and performance metrics.

▻ Database Management:
Assist in maintaining and updating databases to ensure data accuracy and integrity. You'll gain exposure to SQL and other database tools.

▻ Performance & Trend Analysis:
Support in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying patterns in data to optimize business strategies.

▻ Collaboration with Teams:
Work closely with different departments (Marketing, Finance, Operations) to translate data into actionable insights.

▻ Process Improvement & Automation:
Help identify inefficiencies in data processes and suggest automation opportunities using Python, R, or other relevant tools.

We Want You If… 👊

• You’re studying Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
• You have a strong foundation in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• You’re analytical, detail-oriented, and love working with numbers.
• You have experience (or strong interest) in Python or R for data analysis (bonus points!).
• You can communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• You’re proactive, a problem solver, and excited about working in financial services.
